Dear CMAAO Colleagues,
I am very sorry to inform you that Ms. Maki Yoshida, legal advisor of CMAAO and simultaneous interpreter passed away on January 18th at the age of 56 because of cervical cancer.
Ms. Yoshida had dedicated herself to the international activities of the Japan Medical Association and she had also served as a great supporter for the CMAAO (Confederation of Medical Associations in Asia and Oceania) for 17 years not only as interpreter, but a legal adviser in recent years.
We truly miss her excellent work and wonderful personality which were shown us in the activities of CMAAO.
Our thoughts are with her family.
