On September 1-3, 2023, the 37th CMAAO General Assembly was held in Dhaka, Bangladesh, in a face-to-face format for the first time in four years, with approximately 40 participants from 10 medical associations.
Dr. Mustafa Jalal Mohiuddin, President of the Bangladesh Medical Association, was installed as the 40th President of the CMAAO for 2023-24.
The General Assembly adopted the CMAAO Dhaka Declaration – Pandemic preparedness is built upon a robust primary health care system.
